We didn't meet through any industry event or mixer.
Annabel walked into a bar Sonny was at, and it was that simple. In the 5 years since, we’ve worked on a few different small projects with the final goal of doing something big together. Big Hug is the first realization of that goal, and we’re so excited to show it to you.

Annabel has over a decade of experience in restaurants. She has worked at Eleven Madison Park, Gunter Seeger, and helped open/was the Executive Chef of Dromedary Doughnuts and Ra Ra Rhino.

Sonny has over 6 years in cocktail bars, starting at neighborhood bars and dives before running speakeasy the Dealer in UES and moving on to cocktail bars Old Flings and Emma Peel Room.
